Grayson has a highly trained police force that is committed to the protection of our citizens, commuters and visitors. In addition to Chief Ginter, staffing consists of 10 officers. All of our police officers are certified and trained through a minimum 16 week Basic state academy with each receiving a minimum 40-hour annual re-certification of training.

Each police officer performs duties that encompass nearly every facet of law enforcement including, but not limited to crime prevention, investigation of crimes and vehicle accidents, traffic speed enforcement, property security and disturbances/threats to the public peace.

The police department is located at 320 E Third Street on the corner of Third St and Robert & Mary Ave.

The non-emergency phone number for the police dept is 474-4308 during normal business hours Mon-Fri.
